Since the date Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma she faced every hurdle, test, scan, and treatment with a bravery I don't think I could ever match. She always wore a smile on her face no matter how hard a day she was having and fought with an undeniable strength every step of the way - she took the view that she was in charge - not the Melanoma, and threw caution to the wind, living her life the best she could for as long as she could. That fight and spirit now acts as my inspiration every day; what an amazing legacy created
