My wife Helen died from stage 4 Melanoma in 2017, my 3 boys and myself are keen to raise money to prevent other people going through what Helen went through and at the same time remember Helen for the fun loving person she was.
I lost someone for Melanoma very close to my heart, coming up to 2 years ago and now I feel ready to do something in memory of her, but also to raise awareness of Melanoma and money for the charity.
Davide Bernardi - My wife was diagnosed with a melanoma 2 and half years ago and I want to support Melanoma UK to get resources to help those that need it.
We want to support the funding of the mole mapping units.
I am now ten years clear of Skin Cancer and wish to raise funds by hosting a Garden Party at my property Longscroft Manor (near Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire).
I am looking to raise funds for a new Horus 800 Automated Body Mapping unit for the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
Most people are aware of the perils of cancer. Far fewer know more specifically about skin cancer (and how to reduce the chances of exposure etc.) and if doing this run for Melanoma UK raises awareness in addition to some cash then it cannot be a bad thing.
We see first hand the effects of melanoma and other skin cancers on a daily basis. More support and research is needed to help combat these conditions.
We both enjoy running for fun while at the same time fundraising and we’ve chosen Melanoma UK to raise money for Melanoma UK .
I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2009 and didn't know what it meant. Had a relatively easy ride until May 2018 when it all kicked off. I found Melanoma UK and the moral support they provide to patients invaluable.
Gary Rothwell - Having seen the tremendous work that Melanoma Uk does for its patients and families, I have been fundraising for a few years now.
My mum has had Melanoma and I would like to raise awareness of the seriousness.
